Gregory Dimitriadis

Mr. Gregory Dimitriadis is the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since July 2019 and the Chairman of the Board of Enterprise Greece since October 2019.

Mr. Gregory Dimitriadis is the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since July 2019 and the Chairman of the Board of Enterprise Greece since October 2019.

Prior to joining the Government, he was the Executive Vice-President of HVA International, a Dutch consulting firm for agribusiness in developing countries established in 1879. From 2016 to 2018, he was the Managing Director of Iskra Zaščite, a surge protection manufacturer and innovator with facilities in Slovenia and China, integrating the company to the Raycap Group that had acquired it.

Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board & CEO of the Athens Urban Transport Organisation S.A. (OASA), a state-owned enterprise, from 2013 to 2015. During his tenure, a new strategy was implemented to promote network integration by redesigning the transport routes and introducing a new product policy resulting to the expansion of the passenger base and its loyalty; the finances were improved; an innovative application of mobile ticketing was successfully launched; two PPP projects (electronic ticketing and telematics) were signed; a new brand identity was introduced; and a two-year restructuring plan was developed, while Collective Labour Agreements were signed.

From 2010 to 2013, he served as Special Advisor to the Greek Minister for Development and Competitiveness on Exports. As Coordinator of the National Trade Facilitation Strategy, he initiated and supervised policy reforms in trading across borders that have been evaluated as successful according to international indicators, such as the Doing Business of the World Bank, and are considered best practice by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. He remained in position despite government changes serving four consecutive Ministers.

Before that he was the coordinator of a civil society initiative in Thessaloniki, Greece, aiming at public policy innovation. He has also worked in London, UK, for a telecommunication multinational focusing on change management and for a promotion firm as sales and marketing manager.

He studied in the UK and the USA, holding a bachelor with honours in engineering (Manchester Metropolitan University) and two masters; one in the field of telecommunications (University College London) and another in international business relations and international negotiations (The Fletcher School, Tufts University).

Kontogiannis Costis

He is a Science teacher . He holds a Un. Degree in Physics and in Mining Engineering, a MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and a MEd in Adult Education.

Kontogiannis Costis

Costis Kontogiannis holds a Un. Degree in Physics and in Mining Engineering, a MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and a MEd in Adult Education. He has attended many seminars and training courses in the domain of education at various institutions and organisations, such as Principal training Centre (Princeton University) , School of Education at Universities of Harvard and Berkeley etc.

He has a rich experience as a Science teacher in secondary education (20 years) as well as a school headmaster (12 years). He has participated in several European projects, either as researcher, or in administrative position. The objective of those projects was about science teaching, the use of ICT in education, alternative didactics etc.

His main experience is in Physics teaching, in Educational Administration, in Human Resource Management especially in the domain of training and ameliorating the communication skills in the work environment, in the use of ICT for Educational and training purposes .

Leonidas Christopoulos

He is the Secretary General of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures at the Ministry of Digital Governance. He holds a degree on Political Science and International Relations from Panteion University and an MA in International Political Economy from Warwick University.

Leonidas Christopoulos

Mr. Leonidas Christopoulos is the Secretary General of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures at the Ministry of Digital Governance. Mr. Christopoulos has worked as an advisor to several Ministers as well as to the President of the governing party on the field of public administration reform.

He has coordinated significant public administration reform projects in Greece such as the reorganization of the Greek Central Administration (2014), the reduction of administrative burdens in several policy areas (2014), the public financial management agenda (2012-2014) and the new law on the Executive State (2019).

Mr. Christopoulos is a civil servant at the Ministry of Finance and a graduate of the National School of Public Administration.

He holds a degree on Political Science and International Relations from Panteion University and an MA in International Political Economy from Warwick University. He speaks English & German.
