"The face of a new Greece emerges at the Thessaloniki International Fair, a face that we, at the Committee, are trying to promote by unfolding our competitive characteristics," the President of the "Greece 2021" Committee, Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, stressed visiting the pavilions at the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair. The Committee President was welcomed by the President of TIF-Helexpo, Tassos Tzikas, and the CEO Kyriakos Pozrikidis.
With Deputy Minister of Culture, Nikolas Giatromanolakis, and the Assembly of the Committee member, Katerina Polymerou-Kamilaki, the President visited "Pavilion 13," which displays the embroidery depiction of the "Rigas Charta," a work by the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Volos. They also visited the Ministry of Culture’s Pavilion of Greek Handicrafts.
"In our 67 visits all over Greece, we saw thousands of people who practice an art skill and are trying to find ways to turn it into a profession, to make it known abroad", pointed out Mrs. Angelopoulos and referred to "the breakthrough of Greece and young Greek people in new commercial routes."
