Walking through the space, visitors discover historic and scientific information of each era through quizzes and riddles. The concept of the rooms highlights the innovative solutions that stem from the collaboration between Greece and the United States throughout the last 200 years. The space demonstrates historical events and sheds light on pivotal figures from various fields of innovation.  The program is part of the U.S. Embassy’s year-long campaign to commemorate Greece’s Bicentennial entitled “USA & Greece: Celebrating 200 Years of Friendship.” It is organized by the Greek STEM organization SciCo, and is hosted by the Athens Municipality at the Serafeio Center (Echelidon 19 & Pireos 144). The program is funded by the U.S. Embassy and is placed under the auspices of the “Greece 2021” Committee. The "200 Years of Innovation" escape room is geared primarily to schools and youth.
