The President of the Committee "Greece 2021" meets with the leadership of Justice

Meetings with the heads of the country's three supreme courts were held by the President of the Committee "Greece 2021", Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalakis, in the context of the institutional communications carried out by the Committee.

Specifically, the President of the Committee met with the President and the Prosecutor of the Supreme Civil and Criminal Court, Angeliki Aleiferopoulou and Vasilios Pliotas, the President of the Council of State, Mary Sharp, and the President of the Court of Audit, Ioannis Sarmas.

"The country's Justice played a key role in the 200 years of our modern history. It was the guardian of the rule of law and the defender of public peace and consistency. It stood by the citizen, protecting his rights. It monitored the administration's actions, preventing abuses of state power. It defended the interests of the Greek State. It has contributed to preventing wrongdoings and restoring injustices," Mrs. Angelopoulos said in her statement.

During the meetings, the President of the Committee briefed the justice leadership on the Committee's work so far and the projects being prepared for the 200th anniversary of the Revolution. They also discussed ways in which members of the judicial system could participate in the anniversary events.
