While, when asked about how she imagines the future of Greece, she noted: "Greece must seize its destiny. Our future lies ahead, and no one can stop us. We lived the miracle of the Olympics. Yes! We have to do it again. We must communicate who we are, a democratic, liberal country where there are laws and strong institutions. We have a history we're very proud of. This past makes us very confident about the future."
(Note: The statements to France 3 were made in October, before the announcement of both the first and second phase of the measures concerning the pandemic).
