The "Greece 2021" Committee honors the faces of modern Greece through the project "Great Little Heroes," an ode to the protagonists of the 200 years because behind every great historical course, the people are always present.
The project concerns the public screening of images and biographical facts of 1000 historical persons who left their mark on Greece's modern history with their deeds.
These are famous persons who excelled in various social activity areas but also ordinary people who made a difference with their contribution in a specific field.
"Great Little Heroes" is screened on existing public display systems, in various points such as Transportation Centers (OSE, KTEL), airports (Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, Regional Airports managed by Fraport Greece), ships (Blue Star Ferries, ANEK lines, Seajets), as well as Committee-accredited commercial businesses wanting to share in our landmark anniversary, such as Hondos Center.
The list of screening points will become even wider in the coming days.

The project is also accessible online, at the https://www.greece2021.gr/heroes/ link, giving the user the additional option to create various sequences of images by selecting persons from his place of origin, fields of interest, or even a specific period (18th, 19th, 20th century).
"Great Little Heroes" will continue to be screened throughout the anniversary year in order to highlight and declare 2021 as the "year of Greek women and Greek men."
Look for them on public screens throughout Greece.
